CLASS DESCIPTIONS
These guidelines are to set you up for safety and success

Beginner/Basic

Whether you are a brand new beginner or wanting to brush up on your foundations, this is your class. The perfect class for those wanting to begin a Pilates practice, move at a slower pace, recovering from an injury or just wanting to slow it down for a day! Basic classes focus on proper form and breathing, learning how to adjust the springs and equipment for your body and beginner transitions to ensure your Pilates practice will be safe and effective for years to come.

Mixed Level
Progress from the beginner exercises to the intermediate work. The exercises will be a more challenging, the pace will flow a little steadier, and your transitions from one move to the next (including equipment adjustments) should feel a little smoother. Instructors will guide you with the easiest to more challenging options and you can decide which step you take at any given class. Clients should know how to modify movement or add props to accommodate any personal restrictions, such as knee pads, head cushions, sitting boxes.

Intermediate
Proficient on the Pilates Reformer, tower and chair? Strong understanding of the flow and transitions of a Pilates class? Ready for some additional challenges? Currently injury free and want to work at a flowing pace? If you said yes to all of the above, this class is for you! Quicker transitions, more advanced exercises and the ability to self-modify are all part of intermediate work. Unsure if you are ready? Ask your instructor and they will let you know!
Advanced
An advanced flowing sequence of the Reformer repertoire and/or advanced exercises on the chair and tower. Ready to challenge yourself by hanging, going upside down or balancing hands-free? Currently injury free and want to work with minimal breaks at a flowing pace? If you said yes to all of the above, this class is for you! Prior in-studio experience is required.
